005 :: satisfying a scoping itch

yep so its been along time since i tinkered on an analogue scope, so i went to a junk yard, picked up another al cheapo kenwood 50Mhz. plugged it on my bench to find out what the hell the al cheapo stepstick Rsense is looking at.

apparently there is something spooky going on with the scope with all the ghosting, or was it really some kinda spurious spikes doing it? anyway, i managed to drive my stepper using a nutty setting to produce this bad drive curve.

so ok this is the actual drive sense curve.

terrible itch satisfied, now i wonder what is really wrong with this piece of junk.
